I specialize in outdoor senior shoots, and I make every effort to make each session fun, and tailored to your senior. I don't set restrictions on clothing changes, and I'm very willing to travel to a favorite park, home or other venue of your choosing within any reasonable distance. I have a number of great, favorite places in the region for anyone who would like suggestions, too. Please know that there are no hidden charges involved in any of the packages listed here. There is no additional "sitting fee" or other surprise charges that aren't included in each package.
In addition to prints, each package includes a yearbook submission photo. For schools that require it, I will provide studio lighting and a canvas backdrop photo. (Some schools require a solid, professional backdrop, while others will allow outdoor shots, etc. Please refer to your school's specifications.) For Packages A and B, students will need to visit my home studio where we will take that photo. For Packages C and above, I will bring the studio equipment along to set up wherever we do our session. Please know that I work closely with area yearbook advisors to be sure that submitted shots will meet their requirements.
Full payment for packages is due on the day of the shoot. There is no fee for rescheduling due to inclement weather.
The same night as your session, I will post a gallery of all of the images where students and parents can view and choose photos. Also, with your permission, I will also post a handful of shots on my Facebook page, which you will be welcome to share with your friends.
You may mix and match different shots/poses within the constraints of each package. In other words, you can choose different 8x10s to fit the number allotted to a specific package, different 5x7s, etc. I will touch up blemishes and will give great attention to detail before printing each selection.
I recommend devoting at least 90 minutes during an evening to take outdoor shots; the best light for photographs comes within the last couple hours of daylight (and cloudy/overcast days are actually great for photography, so long as it's not raining). I also encourage students to bring along props that represent their personality and school activities -- a football (and gear, if you like), musical instrument, cheerleading outfit, etc.
By request, I will also provide up to four digital images along with permission necessary to use those photos expressly for the purpose of creating graduation invitations.
